The Role

 

We are looking for an Executive Assistant to join our Public Law team in Sydney. In this role, you will provide a high level of support to a busy and successful team of national practitioners.

 

You will work collaboratively with other Executive Assistants nationally in the team to complete incoming tasks. The main responsibilities of this role will include:  

 

  • Diary and email management of authors;
  • Travel and meeting arrangements;
  • Drafting and amending documents and correspondence;
  • File management including file opening and closing, electronic and physical filing;
  • Invoice processing and expense reconciliation;
  • Monitoring court lists;
  • Maintenance of client databases;
  • Preparation of briefs to counsel;
  • Preparing and sending reports to client and team
  • General administration duties.

 

About you
 

You will be interested in legal administration and have a willingness to learn. Ideally, you will have experience in a similar role within an administrative capacity, whether it be in a legal or other professional environment and will also possess the following attributes:

 

  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite;
  • High level of capability with learning new technology and systems;
  • Strong ability to multi-task, prioritise and efficiently manage a high volume of workload;
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Demonstrated ability to form enduring relationships with peers, industry experts and clients;

 

An understanding of billing and financial processes will be highly regarded.
