The Team

The Finance Support and Training team plays a critical role in supporting the firm to most efficiently and effectively use the firm's finance system (Elite 3E) software to meet business requirements. This role is the primary interface between the Finance systems team and all users of Elite 3E. This position will report directly to the Support and Training Manager to ensure the effective operations of Elite 3E and achieve new project deadlines.

A permanent opportunity is available for a Finance Systems Support Analyst to join our Finance Support and Training team. In this role you will be the primary interface between the Finance systems team and all user of Elite 3E to provide expert user support. We are open to locations in Brisbane, Melbourne, or Sydney.

 

Your Role

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide responsive, client focused, first tier systems support through investigation, diagnosis and rectification of issues

  • Identify, classify and escalate issues to second tier support

  • Provide excellent finance and billing support to front end users

  • Analyse user requirements and identify knowledge gaps in user skills and knowledge and provide specific training as required

  • Co-ordinate with other members of the Finance Support and Training Team to ensure that the Help Desk is adequately staffed and systems support activities are equitably distributed throughout the team

  • Conduct system testing and co-ordinate UAT efforts for ongoing system improvements

  • Develop, modify and deliver on-going training modules specific to the needs of MinterEllison and evaluate the efficiency of those modules

  • Maintain training materials, including documentation of all business processes (including policies, procedures, forms, workflow, integrations, formats/templates, associated reports and notifications)

  • Provide local Financial Services support including general and trust receipting (as needed), after-hours support for time zone coverage (where applicable) and billing support for end of month

 

We welcome applicants who have:

  • 2-3 years legal experience in system support and training.

  • Experience in working with critical finance management systems, experience with Elite 3E would be highly desirable.

  • Polished communication style in presenting technical information in a way that is easy to understand

  • Strong analytical and investigative skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
