The Team

 

Our Financial Services Finance team at MinterEllison plays a central role in supporting the firm's operational excellence. With a firm-wide AML transformation underway, this is an exciting moment to join a dedicated team driving significant change across systems, processes, and business readiness. You will work alongside a collaborative and supportive group of finance professionals and project specialists, contributing to one of the most consequential compliance programs the firm has undertaken.

 

Your Role

 

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Finance Training Co-ordinator to join our Financial Services team on a fixed-term basis, with locations available across Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne. This is a critical role supporting the Finance Training Stream to deliver system and process changes aligned with the firm's new AML obligations commencing 1 July 2026.

 

Reporting to the Support and Training Manager, you will partner closely with the Finance Support and Training Team and the Finance Systems AML Project Team to ensure role-appropriate training is delivered in a timely manner across multiple system releases and business process updates. Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Maintaining readiness checklists, action logs, and status updates for Finance
  • Co-ordinating pre-deployment activities including training preparation aligned with AML project updates
  • Developing detailed training schedules aligned with program-wide timelines and dependencies
  • Co-ordinating session logistics including attendee lists, session invites, online modules, and recordings
  • Working with subject matter experts to prepare and update training materials
  • Developing, modifying, and delivering training modules tailored to MinterEllison's needs and evaluating their effectiveness
  • Maintaining training materials and comprehensive documentation of all business processes
  • Supporting hypercare activities following each phase go-live, including post-implementation and billing support
  • Maintaining attendance records and learning compliance tracking, providing weekly progress reports against training targets

 

More About You

 

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organised training professional who:

 

  • has experience in a training co-ordinator, project support, or business readiness role within a professional services environment
  • has experience in system support and training, with the ability to present technical information in an accessible and engaging way
  • demonstrates high attention to detail, particularly in documentation and reporting
  • is able to co-ordinate across diverse stakeholders and manage the end-to-end training lifecycle
  • possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparing instructional materials and delivering training communications
  • thrives in a collaborative environment and contributes positively to team culture
  • takes genuine pride in the quality of their work and the reputation of their firm

 

Highly desirable:

 

  • experience in Finance processes or systems such as Elite 3E, billing, or matter management
  • exposure to AML/CTF compliance, onboarding processes, or client and matter intake
  • familiarity with online learning platforms and basic content creation such as quick reference guides or video tutorials
