About the Role
As our Senior HR Leader for the Disputes, Competition and Insurance (DCI) Line of Business (LoB), you will play a pivotal national leadership role, guiding a talented team of HR Business Partners and partnering with firm leaders across the business. Together, you will attract, develop, and retain outstanding talent—fuelling success, growth, and a truly exceptional employee experience.
About DCI
DCI (Disputes, Competition & Insurance) is the firm’s largest Line of Business, supporting clients to navigate their most complex regulatory and commercial challenges. Our Partners advise clients on high-stakes litigation, regulatory investigations, class actions, patents and trademarks, insurance, health and medical negligence, media, public law, technology projects, and workers' compensation matters.
What You'll Do

Lead the development and execution of forward-thinking people strategies and initiatives that drive LoB performance and organisational success.

Shape the future of the business by building talent pipelines, developing capability, and fostering the right behaviours and structures to meet tomorrow’s needs.

Oversee all aspects of the talent lifecycle, including performance and remuneration reviews, recruitment, and ongoing development—ensuring our people are supported, empowered, and rewarded.

Coach and support leaders to embed change and lead their teams confidently through business transformation and improvement.

Champion a culture of psychological safety, wellbeing, inclusion, and high performance at all levels of the organisation by embedding respectful workplace practices, proactively addressing concerns, and mitigating psychosocial and organisational risks.

Collaborate closely with the Line of Business and Business Operations Leadership Team (BOLT) to execute the LOB Strategic Plan, practice group strategic initiatives, business plans, and special projects.

Contribute as a key member of the Talent Leadership Team, bringing your expertise in change and transition management to the fore.
About You

Extensive experience in senior HR leadership roles within complex organisations such as professional services, global partnership, or corporate environment.

Proven ability to develop and deliver people strategies that align with business goals and mitigate organisational risk.

Exceptional skills in leading, coaching, developing, change management, and building high-performing HR teams.

Strong commercial acumen and understanding of professional services firms and financial drivers.

Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage at all levels of the organisation.

A passion for creating an inclusive, supportive, psychologically safe and high-achieving workplace.

Postgraduate qualification or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related discipline.
