Your Role

 

A great opportunity currently exists for an experienced leasing Lawyer and/or Associate to join us. We would like to hear from professionals who are experienced in the leasing of retail, commercial and industrial property sector. We are also interested in hearing from you if you have experience in the telecommunications sector. In this role you will work alongside Partner Jakob Paartalu and his team, however, there will also be close contact with other leading lawyers working in the broader national team.

 

As an experienced leasing Lawyer and/or Associate, you will also ideally have experience in some or all of the following areas:

 

  • real estate transactions
  • development and infrastructure projects
  • general commercial property advice work
  • team leadership and supervision
  • client interface.

 

More About You

 

We welcome applications from Lawyers and Associates with 3+ years PQE with demonstrated leasing experience and are looking to cement your career in a market leading practice. In addition to your legal knowledge, you will have an ability to manage strong client relationships and complex transactions with minimal supervision and have the ability to provide guidance and mentoring to the junior members of the team.

The Team

 

The Sydney Real Estate team is led by partners Jakob Paartalu, Julie Purbrick, Alice Langham, Rachel McNaught, David McElhone, Joanne Moore and Owen Kiely.  The team offers a comprehensive range of property-related legal services for developers, investors, owners, landlords, property funds managers, listed property trusts and government.

 

In this role you will work alongside Partner Jakob Paartalu and his team who advise on a broad range of property matters, but specialise in high volume transactions, across a number of sectors including retail, industrial, commercial and telecommunications.

 

Some of our clients include AMP, CBA, Challenger, Charter Hall, Dexus, Stockland, Frasers Property, GPT, Lendlease, Optus, Indara, Waveconn, Amplitel and NSWTA.
