We have an excellent opportunity to join our industry-leading insurance practice, based in Sydney. As a Paralegal, you will provide essential support to partners and senior lawyers primarily on sensitive claims.
Our national team works with a diverse and well-established client base, including insurers, government, churches, and schools.
In this role you will
- Deliver high-quality business outcomes for clients when drafting, reviewing, or preparing documents including routine Court documents and correspondence
- Work collaboratively with team members and lawyers to deliver innovative solutions and ensure the best outcome for the client
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the team including regular communication to manage expectations on projects or tasks
- Keep up to date with relevant legislation to build technical excellence
- Conduct general administrative tasks to ensure the team delivers the best outcome for the client within timeframes
- Using AI tools to increase efficiency and productivity
What You Need
We welcome applications from paralegals who:
- have 1+ years’ experience supporting personal injury claims work, ideally involving sensitive matters
- are familiar with civil procedure and litigation processes
- can thoroughly and sensitively review and organise evidence relating to liability and quantum issues
- are highly organised, with demonstrated experience managing files and assisting with a portfolio of claims
- thrive in a collaborative team environment
- take pride in their work and the team they support
