At MinterEllison, we're leading the way with AI and other emerging technologies, powering innovation right across our firm. You will have the opportunity to engage with AI tools we've built, and other external AI tools, to enhance efficiencies and excellence internally and with our clients.

We support sustainable ways of working regarding how, when and where you work and offer a wide range of social, financial and health benefits.

The Team

Our Talent Enablement team sits at the heart of the employee experience, providing operational excellence, trusted advice and continuous improvement across the full employee lifecycle.

As part of our broader People Services function, you'll work closely with HR Business Partners, leaders and employees across the firm to ensure our people processes run smoothly, compliantly and efficiently. This is a team that genuinely values curiosity and improvement.

If you're someone who enjoys variety, ownership and being the person others turn to for advice, you'll find plenty of opportunity here. From supporting onboarding and employee lifecycle processes, through to coaching junior team members, improving workflows and partnering on AI-enabled process enhancements, you'll play a visible role in helping our people function operate at its best.

Your Role

As an Adviser within our Talent Enablement team, you'll act as a trusted escalation point for complex people queries, support the development of our Coordinator population and help drive continuous improvement across our people operations.

This is an ideal opportunity for an emerging HR professional who enjoys solving complex problems, taking ownership and finding smarter ways of working. You'll have the autonomy to manage your own portfolio of responsibilities while contributing to projects, process improvements and service excellence initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing advice and resolution for complex employee, leader and HR stakeholder queries

  • Managing key people lifecycle processes including onboarding, employee movements, promotions, leave programs and offboarding activities

  • Supporting compliance-related activities and ensuring key obligations are delivered accurately and on time

  • Identifying recurring issues and developing practical solutions, knowledge resources and self-service content

  • Contributing to process improvement, automation and AI-enabled initiatives that improve efficiency and user experience

  • Partnering with HR Business Partners and key stakeholders to deliver a seamless employee experience

We welcome applications from people who:

  • Have demonstrated experience in HR operations, HR advisory, People Services or a related people-focused environment

  • Have experience managing employee queries and providing advice across a range of people processes

  • Enjoy solving problems and getting to the root cause rather than simply processing transactions

  • Can confidently manage competing priorities and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment

  • Have experience identifying and implementing process improvements, system enhancements or more efficient ways of working

  • Bring strong stakeholder management and communication skills

We are open to candidates from a variety of sectors who bring strong HR foundations, a continuous improvement mindset and a genuine passion for delivering great people experiences.
