Associate / Senior Associate - Property Litigation

The team

A great opportunity currently exists for a Senior Associate to join our Sydney Dispute Resolution team.

Working alongside Amy Southwell, Partner, and her broader team, you will work on property and leasing disputes for a range of high profile clients.

In your role, you will gain exposure to the following types of matters:

  • Supreme Court NSW, Real Property List, contract disputes, property disputes, commercial and retail leasing disputes, industrial leasing disputes, misleading and deceptive conduct claims;
  • Retail leasing litigation in the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal;
  • Advising on the sale of large scale residential assets, including, off the plan sales; and
  • Attending mediations with clients.


About you

We welcome applications from candidates with:

  • Expertise in real property and leasing litigation and related advice provision, with a sound understanding and practical knowledge of the Retail Leases Act 1994 (NSW);
  • Experience in some or all of insolvency, general commercial disputes, regulatory disputes and investigations, Corporations Act litigation
  • High academic achievement;
  • Exceptional client service skills, responsiveness and attention to detail;
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills;
  • An ability to work in a high volume, deadline driven environment;
  • Enthusiasm and a positive, collaborative and proactive approach;


While we are ideally looking for a Senior Associate, we would also consider Associates with at least 3 years' experience.
