Our Team

Our Project Solutions team is a multidisciplinary team that sits within our broader Capital Markets & Corporate business line and is recognised as an industry leading practice offering integrated solutions across the energy, resources and infrastructure sectors.

 

The team are regularly engaged to act for government, domestic and global clients with respect to complex energy and resources projects, M&A, infrastructure, foreign investment, licensing, regulatory approvals and compliance, and energy industry-specific transactions such as power purchase, supply, infrastructure access, distribution and trading agreements. 

 

Your Role

Due to an increase in deal flow and a strong pipeline of work, we are looking for an experienced senior associate to join our industry leading Projects practice in Sydney. You will work closely with partners Bryn Davis and Adam Handley in their resources focussed M&A and project practice that spans both the east and west coast of Australia with their domestic and international client base. You will enjoy working on a fascinating variety of high value transactions and matters, including advising on M&A deals, investment and capital raisings, procurement, joint ventures and regulatory regimes.

 

Given the diverse client base, and its client focussed practice, flexible and agile working arrangements are embraced in this team.  You would also have access to other senior practitioners across our nationally collaborative team, with access to a supportive network of lawyers and paralegals.

More About You

We welcome applications from lawyers who have:

 

  • 6+ years' post admission experience in Corporate / M&A, ideally within the Energy & Resources sector;
  • Strong communication, technical drafting and problem solving skills;
  • Team player attitude and ability to mentor junior team members;
  • Demonstrated ability to form enduring relationships with peers, clients and fellow advisers;
  • Resilience and a commitment to provide exceptional levels of service to our local and international client base.
