Your Role 
  

We are looking for a Knowledge Support Coordinator to join our team, based in Sydney. This newly created role will work closely with the Knowledge Lead and will play an essential role in supporting the Workplace team to maintain competitive advantage and enhance the efficiency of knowledge in the team nationally. 

  

The Knowledge Support Coordinator will assist in centralising and curating the firm's knowledge base, facilitating efficient knowledge sharing and collaboration across the firm and ensuring that the firm's intellectual assets are leveraged to their fullest potential. 

  

In this role you will have the opportunity to: 

  • Manage and maintain the Workplace team legal knowledge database and SharePoint page 

  • Respond to Workplace knowledge requests 

  • Co-ordinate client updates 

  • Present Workplace knowledge training sessions for new starters 

  • Assist with Workplace Consistency Committees – co-ordination, proof-reading and some drafting 

  • Manage, maintaining and improving the firm's knowledge repositories 

  • Promote a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration – including via knowledge updates 

  • Monitor and report on the usage and effectiveness of knowledge management initiatives. 

  • Assist in piloting and championing new tools (including AI tools such as CoPilot, Legora and Cicero) in line with Firm strategy 

  

More About You 
  

  • Some experience in project coordination/knowledge management. 

  • Strong written and oral communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to confidently present information to a range of stakeholders  

  • Interest in generative AI, document automation and emerging legal technology tools 

  • Ability to build and leverage on relationships internally and externally 

  • Highly organised and ability to juggle multiple projects at once 

  • Collaborative team player with an interest in finding better ways to capture, re-use and share knowledge 

  • Proactive and enthusiastic attitude with a passion for the work you do and a desire to learn and improve 

  • Excellent IT skills, in particular, Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word 

  • Previous legal or professional services experience highly desirable.
